The Truth is IN there

Came across this quote from Rick Doblin on the Aubrey Marcus podcast this morning...

It’s easier to die physically than it is to change who you think you are.
— Rick Doblin

(Go look him up and MAPS.)

Yeah, goosebumps and it got me right in the feels.

Crazy that us humans would rather waste our lives than tell the truth about who we really are.

I was handed a Tony Robbins book when I was 24.

Ever since then, I’ve been on a mission to find out what makes us humans do what they do.

I’m fascinated by why some succeed and others fade away.

I’m utterly obsessed by human potential.

We all have it but what does it take to release it?

THIS is my mission.

I’ve been doing my own digging about in the old noggin to work this shit out.

There have been some dark days, I’ll tell ya.

I’ve been zen AF and angry beyond belief about my life.

But every time I dug in, I knew it was part of the story.

The story of being human.

It’s all part of your story too.

So to return to the quote...

What does it take to release your potential?

Here’s my take...

Your ego isn’t bad, it’s just misplaced.
Realign your ego to your true self.

And how to realign your ego?

TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT WHO YOU ARE.

Easier said than done.

(There’s been more than one tear-filled episode for me by doing this.)

But I would rather live truthfully than live a lie.

Very few peeps know this but I’ve gone through some funking horrendous stuff lately.

I’m not scared to talk about it, just not here and not yet.

But I’m willing to be the living example of what’s possible when you tell yourself the truth.

So here’s a fck you to the lies we tell ourselves.

Check in with what you’re really feeling and release your potential.
