October Update

Wow, what a month?!

It's been four weeks since I started this and the difference it's made in my life has been surprising.

It's not just an email, it's a email that has to be produced everyday and that takes focus.

I decided not to write on the weekend because I and you need down time.

A decision that's served me well because it's highlighted that yes, downtime is good. Very good.

And that's what this weekend is about. Birthday weekend and time away from everything.

I have deleted everything off my phone and I'm disappearing for a few days.

That will give me clarity on what I'm gonna decide to do next.

My 38th year has been one hell of a ride. I thought my 37th was bonkers but this year has been mental.

And it comes down to this.

Deciding.

Deciding to do the thing that I wanted to do and then making progress on it everyday.

No secret formula, no "one trick", no gurus telling me what to do.

It was deciding.

And doing what ever it takes.

Yesterday I wrote about going all in. And this is so damn important.

Going all in means that you've decided and you're not going back.

Playing at it doesn't work.
Half arsing it doesn't work.
Keeping your options open doesn't work.

Deciding does.

Deciding has power beyond a simple yes or no.

It's is a statement of fact that you are making true.
It's a reality you are creating for yourself.
It's the utopia you are building for your fans.

And it starts with desire.

Digging deep into the core of who you are and allowing it to surface.

By deciding, you're making it true and real.

It might end up not being what you want and that's ok too.

You may write a daily email and find you love writing about one thing and not the other stuff!

By deciding, you allow your desire to surface, test it out, try it on then decide if it's really what you want.

Keep it hidden and you'll never know if what you desire is for you.

It may even be that your desire is someone else's and unless you experience it, you'll never know.

So that's what I'm asking you to do for my birthday.

Decide what you want and make it real.

I know every single one of the people who signed up for this email have a desire to do something great.

YOU have the desire to do something great.

All you have to do is decide.

There is a saying in the Pick Up Artist world.

"Let the boy die."
- Eben Pagen/David Deangelo

It is from a now very famous seminar he gave where he explained the concept of letting the boy inside of you die and become a man.

You can read about it here. It's not about being a PUA, it's greater than that. It's actually one of the best personal development pieces I've ever read!!

It's about burning your bridges and letting the real you come out.

Deciding to live fully and allowing the bullshit to die.

BTW, it gets addictive too. Once you decide on one thing, you'll start deciding in other areas of your life too.

Take the weekend, go off somewhere, scream at the trees, take some mind altering substances, sit quiet, meditate... but what ever you do, find your desire and decide to make it real.

As always, I'm eternally grateful to have you read this.

Thank you.

We All Go Up Together.
